(SKIN TYPE: COMBINATION)
A few days back I talked about my winter morning skincare routine, so I thought why not do a post on the night care routine as well. This routine not only includes skincare products but also hair and body care products that I use.
As I have mentioned above, I have a combination skin type so this night care routine would cater well to people with my kind of skin. I started off with this skincare routine a few weeks back and its working great for me this winter season.
The skincare products in this routine repair, replenish and hydrate my skin overnight. Let’s take a look at the routine:
STEP 1 – AVENE 3-STEP CLEANANCE KIT
Just like my morning skincare routine, I start off my night skincare regime with the Avene Cleanance Gel. I personally like this gel. It helps in clearing away all the dirt from my face. It calms my skin and makes it look healthy. And the best thing about it is that it is soap less. It doesn’t even make my skin breakout.
STEP 2 – KAMA AYURVEDA PURE ROSE WATER
After washing my face, I like to spray some KAMA AYURVEDA PURE ROSE WATER on my face. It refreshes my face and helps in balancing and restoring the PH level and also helps in tightening the pores. It works as a great toner too.
STEP 3 – KIEHL’S MIDNIGHT RECOVERY CONCENTRATE
JUST HERBS ELIXIR FACIAL SERUM
I like both of these serums a lot. I like to switch between these two occasionally and both of them work almost the same for me. The serums work deeply into the skin and make it look smoother, healthier and hydrated. It tends to regenerate, repair and replenish the skin overnight.
STEP 4 – LIPZ LIP MOISTUIZER
FUSCHIA LIP BALM (STRAWBERRY PASSION)
LIP ICE LIP BALM
This step is very important as your lips too need moisturisation as much as the face does. These three lip balms are my current favourites and I use them a lot.
STEP 5 – KAMA AYURVEDA BRINGADI INTENSIVE HAIR TREATMENT
I like to use this product once or twice a week. It treats the problem of hair fall and also helps in reducing dandruff. The good thing is that it is 100% natural. The smell is a bit weird (like how a typical Ayurvedic product smells) but the product works wonders.
STEP 6 – PARCHUTE ADVANCED SCALP THERAPIE FOR HAIR FALL
Another oil that I use once a week (most likely on weekends). I like to leave it overnight. I don’t use it to reduce my hair fall but to give nourishment to my hair.
STEP 7 – SOAP AND GLORY FLAKE AWAY BODY POLISH
This scrub is just amazing and it smells so good. It exfoliates really well ad has the right amount of granules. It also makes the skin soft and supple after continued usage. I like to use it at least twice a week.
STEP 8 – JOHNSON’S BABY MILK LOTION
Don’t you guys feel that your body too needs moisturisation? Of course, it does. For my body, I use this body lotion because I just love it way too much.
STEP 9 – SHEET MASKS
Sheet masks are trending a lot lately and for a lazy girl like me it is a great way to get facial like look at home, without any efforts. It is basically a thin cotton sheet doused in liquid-based formula that moisturizes, brightens and even treats fine lines. These are full of vitamins, amino acids and minerals and hence have a lot of benefits. It is a great way to pamper your skin . You can use it once or twice a week. I love sheet masks from Innisfree and Skin18.com.
I have reviewed some here.
You can buy these products from Nykaa at great discounts.
So this is my night care routine that not just includes skincare but also hair and body care products. I would definitely continue with this routine till winter ends. This regime does every good to my skin, hair and body.
I hope this post was of help to you all. Thanks for reading it.
