In my last post I showed you guys the masks that I recently received from Skin18.com .Well as promised I am reviewing all of them in this post.
We all know how amazing Korean skin care products are and people die to try them out but unfortunately these are not easily assessable to us who live in India. But not anymore! Skin18.com is our destination guys. You can get loads of Korean products from here and the best part is they are fairly priced and many a time they have sale and offers going on.
So let’s see the review of the Korean masks from Skin18.
1. Four Season’s Multi Vita Brightening Active Mask : (PRICE: US $1.60)
This brightening sheet mask contains highly concentrated Multi – Vitamin essence that brightens and vitalizes the dark and dull skin. You will actually notice the difference in your skin after using this sheet mask. It instantly gives that brightening and hydration boost to the skin.
TIP : Whenever I use a sheet mask, I always like to massage my face with the serum of the mask (of course after removing the mask) and then leave it overnight. This way the serum goes deep into the skin and gives better results.
P.S.– This sheet mask might feel a bight heavy for oily skin type people, so you can splash some water on your face if the stickiness bothers you.
2. Food A Holic Natural Essence Mask- Blueberry : (PRICE: US $1.50)
This Blueberry essence mask claims to maintain elasticity of the skin and keep it lustrous and moist, providing energy to the skin. I wish this mask stood up to its claims but sadly it didn’t. First of all, this sheet mask has such a poor fit and the material of the sheet is also very strange to me. Also, it doesn’t even smell like blueberry juice (I really wish it had that smell). The only good point about this is that it is a bit hydrating but then its serum or lotion is very runny which makes it a very tacky process. Also, the effect of this mask disappears really quickly.
All in all, I didn’t like it much.
3. Luke-Collagen Hydrogel Eye Patch: (PRICE: US $1.80)
This packet contains two white crescent shaped patches for both the eyes. The fragrance is quite pleasant and these eye patches gives a cooling sensation to the skin under the eyes. Right after you remove these patches, you notice that relaxed, moisturised and brightening effect. But the effect is not long lasting. They give an instant hydration boost to the eyes. The best part is that it is a mess free procedure.
4. Luke- Hydrogen Eye Patch for Eye Puffiness: (PRICE: $ 1.40)
This product claims to reduce eye puffiness and tightens the skin under the eyes. Well well, yes it does what it claims. Lately I have been suffering from the problem of insomnia so I tend to get huge puffs under my eyes and really bad dark circles if I don’t sleep for 7-8 hours a day. This eye patch works great on the puffy eyes. It tightens the skin under the eyes providing it moisture. My eyes felt so relaxed after using this.
5. Luke Nose Strips. (PRICE: US $0.65 each)
-Charcoal nose cleansing strip.
-Mugwort nose strip.
-Lemon tea tree nose cleansing strip.
After face sheet masks, I am obsessed with nose strips and I am always at the lookout for some good ones. These ones worked wonders on my nose. From taking away all the gunk and dirt, to cleaning it from the roots, these do everything. Just like a good clean up or facial takes away all the dirt and blackheads from the nose, the same way these work. I am completely in love with these nose strips.
So, these were my views on some Skin18 masks, eye-patches and nose strips. Let me know if you have tried any of these and your thoughts.
Hope you find it useful !
